The Legislative Information Standing Committee provides important information to our members on current or pending legislation that affects the retirement benefits received by members. The Committee gathers information through interaction with legislators and other government officials, pro-employee action groups, and the members directly to stay current on the status of pending legislation.

Anyone may participate in a monthly Legislative Committee teleconference by calling 274-1720 (if in Anchorage) or 1-888-745-1720 from elsewhere within Alaska on the second Friday of each month. The toll-free number is not available from outside Alaska.
